The last session to be held at the Shoulder of Mutton in Wantage was on July 28th.

The session (and facebook page) has been renamed to The Wantage Folk Session and is moving back to The Abingdon Arms on Grove Street on the 3rd Friday of September (15th) at 8pm and monthly thereafter.

Kirsty Martin has been leading innovative and inclusive community singing for over 20 years.  She writes dynamic, rhythmic vocal music for community singers and is delighted to bring to Oxford a hum-dinging zinger of a workshop.  She will include music from her latest collection of protest songs 'Don't mourn, harmonise', the title taken from Joe Hill, union organiser, who famously said 'don't mourn, organise'.

The workshop is on Saturday 4th November in St Columba's Church Hall, Alfred Street, OX1 4EH, from 10.30am to 4pm.  Cost £25 or £15 for students.
