The first MIcrofest, in October 2023, was an enjoyable event, if not large. The format is that we provide a hall with parking and a real ale bar and you come to sing, play, recite, dance or do whatever comes naturally in good company. It's a bit like one of the pub sessions you prefer to go to at festivals and it's FREE.
This second event celebrates the memory of Keith Holloway, avid melodeonist and great friend to untold numbers of folk musicians across the country.
What happens is largely up to you. There may be a few feature spots; we might spin the bottle to see what we should play or sing next; there will probably be simple food.
Come to The Cholsey Pavilion from midday to 8 pm on Sunday 26th January 2025 to meet and make friends.
