We are delighted to bring Oxford based Megan Henwood to Harwell, her clever lyrics and skilful use of guitar will make for a thoroughly entertaining evening.

In 2009, Megan won the BBC Young Folk Award, aged 20, alongside her brother Joe. Since then, she has gone on to become a formidable British talent. Megan has received praise in numerous well-regarded publications including The Guardian, Uncut and Folk Radio as well as support from the likes of BBC Radio 2’s Mark Radcliffe, Simon Mayo, Terry Wogan and Janice Long to name but a few. Megan is also a regular on the UK live circuit, having played numerous festivals including Glastonbury, Cambridge Folk Festival and Secret Garden Party amongst others.

Support will be provided from the up and coming Lucy May Walker, someone we discovered busking on the Southbank, though since then she has gone on to do several support slots for the likes of Graham Clarke (Wet Wet Wet) and Lucy Spraggan. She has recently caught the attention of Jeremy Vine and has been played on Radio 2.

Tickets are £12 in advance and £14 on the door, concessions are available for those 16 and under with an adult.

Doors and bar at 7pm, music at 7:40pm.
