The evening will commence with a torch lit procession that will wind its way magically towards The Stables; this wondrously lit Mediæval Bæbes’ Christmas Concert will enchant the audience right from the very start! Concert goers are urged to join in the pageantry, or to just enjoy the torch lit spectacle before it culminates in a grand entrance into the venue. 

With lush, ethereal harmonies and a dazzling array of exotic and period instruments, The Mediaeval Baebes will be weaving their story-telling magic and exalting the true spirit of Christmas once again.  In this glorious concert, the classical chart-topping choir’s joyous music will showcase tracks from their latest seasonal album MydWynter, alongside well known Christmas carols, traditional folk songs, and innovative settings of ancient and romantic poetry.

Over the years, the Mediæval Bæbes have released 11 studio albums and won an Ivor Novella Award for their performance on the BBC serialization “The Virgin Queen.”   They have also received 2 Emmy nominations and a Royal Television Society award as the featured artist alongside composer Martin Phipps for the theme tune of ITV’s hit TV show “Victoria.”  Their recent collaboration with Orbital ‘Ringa Ringa’ enjoyed number 6 status in the album charts.
