Simon Care started his musical journey as a member and musician for Moulton Morris at the tender age of ten. His love of traditional English Dance music has shone through in all of the bands he has performed with over the years. He started his professional music career in 1984 when at the age of 19 he joined The Albion Band. From there he went on to tour the world with roots-reggae pioneers Edward II from 1991 until 1999. His love of English Ceilidh music has seen him work with The Cock and Bull Band, Tickled Pink, Whapweasel and his latest band Banter. Never one for following the rules, Simon has always been at the cutting edge of innovation and exploration of English Dance Music.
